Medicine Institute (EMI) is a creative, consumer-focused,
health-initiative founded by doctors and business people
who recognize that the current health care model is broken and needs to
be fixed. For over a decade, we have developed and tested one of the
most comprehensive medical models to date.
Our
health care crisis is due to the fact that most Americans suffer from
one or more chronic disease. Science now recognizes that this chronic
disease is the result of 'silent inflammation' of our blood vessels. EMI's core
competency is the control of this 'silent inflammation' in the endothelium (the single layer of cells that lines the 50 thousand miles of blood vessels in each of us) in order to enhance
vascular health and reverse chronic disease.
What is even more significant is that
research over the past two decades has shown that we can prevent most of this chronic disease by appropriate lifestyle change.
